Hydrographic Survey Oversight Team Established

The MEH Demonstration Project’s Technical Committee on Survey and ENC Production (TC-SENC) met in Singapore on 8 and 9 October 2009.  The Meeting was hosted by the Government of Singapore and jointly organized by IMO and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.  The Meeting was attended by representatives from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, IHO, World Bank and IMO as well as GEMS Survey Limited.  The Meeting reviewed the Project Execution Plan for the hydrographic survey of Area 1 of the TSS prepared by GEMS Survey Limited and agreed to a timetable for the survey.  The Meeting also agreed to establish the MEH Project Oversight Team (MOST) to represent the Project and IMO during the various phases of the survey.
